Colourful Fiesta Styled Shoot at Te Puna Quarry Park, Tauranga

This vibrant styled shoot was put together to showcase the possibilities within the captivating gardens of Te Puna Quarry Park, Tauranga. And to bring our pop-up wedding packages to life!


The idea behind this shoot was to amplify the fun, colour and vibrancy of the space. With vivid hues and magical florals, we think this style shoot will inspire you to add a pop of colour (or three!) to your special day, whether it be in the bouquet, the styling, the cake or the dress.

The indoor ceremony space at The Gallery was created by the very talented Chrissie Brown from Lady Plant Floral Studio. Chrissie set the two gold plinths as the backdrop for our bride and groom, and styled the area with stunning floral arrangements of orange, peach, lime green, lilac, yellow, and pink hues.

The portrait photo opportunities at Te Puna Quarry Park are endless. The Cactus and Succulent Lawn provides the Mexican-inspired backdrop of your dreams. The Amphitheatre space brings an element of grandeur to photos. And there are plenty of private, little spaces around every corner where you can take a breath, connect, and be together surrounded by lush, native bush.

Bringing playful, cheeky, colourful fiesta vibes to the party was the aim - and the vivid, multi-coloured backdrop provided by The Photobooth Lady, paired with the bright floral arrangements certainly delivered. The bride's dress, supplied by Gown + Altar, perfectly complimented the style with it's figure-hugging silhouette, off the shoulder cut and cute puffy sleeves.
