Rustic-Charm Styled Shoot at No 2 Road Hall, Te Puke

Two brides stand in the doorway of No 2 Road Hall in Te Puke.

UPDATE: This shoot is now featured on NZ Bride and Groom, check it out!

This styled shoot was arranged to capture the character and charm of the No 2 Road Hall venue. Sitting only five minutes outside of Te Puke, the small hall emerges out of the horizon in front of you as you're driving along No 2 Road Hall and you can't help but smile. It makes you feel like you've gone back in time.

This venue is absolutely perfect for elopements, mini weddings, or small weddings up to 30-40 people. And as you will see from the photos, it's utterly adorable.

Two brides stand in front of an aarch holding hands and looking at each other. One is wearing a hat and the other is in a bohemian style dress. The arch has two flower arrangements and is draped with white fabric.

This shoot showcases the rustic charm that can be created when planning a wedding at the No 2 Road Hall. We mixed countryside with bohemian, with pops of pastels, a signature-hat moment, and a relaxed-boho play on the wedding dress. Illustrating that you really can do what you want when it comes to your wedding day - there are no rules.

The flower arrangements were supplied by Sweetpea and Jasmine and featured pastel hues of lavender and coral. The cake was baked and decorated by Sage and Grace, a delicious fluffy chocolate cake with chocolate ganache (so delicious!).

Four wedding dresses were featured by Jopanni bridal. Sunny wore two bohemian style dresses, with impeccable lace features and large sleeves. Courtney's dresses were classic, one simple with an open-back, and the other bringing princess vibes! With thousands of tiny blue beads that brought some dazzle to the rainy day.

Even in rainy weather, the No 2 Road Hall remains full of character and charm. For groups of up to 30, it really is a truly magical venue.

At The Little Wedding Planner, we love making the most of the little things. We brought together some of the Bay of Plenty's finest wedding vendors for this photoshoot, suppliers who support intimate, little gatherings and stress-free celebrations.
